Jane App integrations, and what we build around Jane

Jane App integrations are narrower than most clinics expect. Jane has no open API, so nothing plugs straight into your schedule. What you can connect is the website, the booking links, the tracking and the follow-up around Jane. MoFluent builds and runs those pieces for physiotherapy, chiropractic and multidisciplinary clinics, and keeps Jane as the single source of truth for appointments.

Start with the facts

Four things to know before you plan a Jane integration

Most of the confusion about Jane integrations comes from agencies promising a "sync" that Jane does not offer. Here is what Jane's own documentation says.

01

There is no open API

Jane's Integrations Hub FAQ says Jane does not currently have an open API or provide API keys, and has no plans to. Anyone selling a two-way, real-time Jane sync should explain exactly how it works.

02

Jane's list is the source of truth

Jane calls its integrations hub the source of truth for its product integrations. If a tool is not on it, such as an automation tool or a CRM, there is no official connection.

03

Booking links are the main door

Every clinic gets an online booking site at yourclinic.janeapp.com, with separate booking buttons and links for the clinic, each practitioner and each location. That is what a website, a text or a chat should hand the patient.

04

Tracking is built in

Jane supports Google Analytics 4 and has a Google Tag Manager integration that sends booking conversions to Google Ads and Analytics. You can measure which channel produced a booking without touching patient records.

Jane App integrations that matter for marketing

Jane lists about twenty integrations on its integrations directory, many of them clinical (Physitrack, Wibbi, Fullscript) or billing (TELUS eClaims, Pacific Blue Cross, Claim.MD). These are the ones that affect how patients find and book you. Availability depends on your Jane plan and region.

How Jane online booking links work on a website

In Jane, a user with full access finds the codes under Settings, then Branding, in the Book Online buttons section. Each practitioner gets a code per location. Site builders that do not accept HTML, such as Wix or Squarespace, take the plain URL on their own button instead. On a well-built clinic site, the knee pain page links to the physiotherapists who treat knees, the location page links to that location, and each bio links to that person's own schedule.

How to track Jane bookings in Google Analytics and Google Ads

Jane's Google Analytics guide sets up a GA4 data stream for the booking site and an appointment_booked event that fires on the "Thanks for Booking" page, plus cross-domain measurement so a visit that starts on your website keeps its source when it moves to Jane. Jane's Tag Manager integration goes further and sends conversions to Google Ads from Jane's side. We set both up and check that the numbers match Jane's own booking reports.

Is Jane App a CRM? How follow-up works without an API

Jane is practice management software: schedule, charts, billing and patient communication. It is not built to chase someone who called on Tuesday and has not booked. That gap is where a CRM earns its place, and it can fill it without an API.

  1. The enquiry lands in the CRM. A missed call, a text, a website form or a chat creates a contact with its source.
  2. Follow-up sends the right Jane link. The message points to the practitioner or location that fits the question, not just the home page.
  3. The patient books in Jane. Jane sends its own confirmation and reminders. We do not duplicate them.
  4. The booking is measured. Jane's GA4 or Tag Manager integration records the conversion and its source.
  5. The CRM learns the outcome. With no live feed from Jane, the follow-up stops when the patient replies, when staff mark them booked, or when a Jane patient list export is matched, depending on what suits your front desk.

Jane lets staff export patient reports to an Excel file. Where a scheduler has no API, a regular export can be the bridge, and that is how our ChiroSoft build works today. Any patient data that moves between systems is handled under your clinic's privacy policy and agreements, and marketing messages only go to patients who consented to them.

Jane compared with Cliniko

Cliniko takes a different approach. It has a public API, and each clinic generates its own API key, which Cliniko warns gives access to your data and should only go to trusted vendors. Its online bookings can also be embedded in a website. With Cliniko, a closer connection between the schedule and your follow-up is possible. With Jane, the integration happens at the booking link and the tracking layer.

Our evidence

We build around the scheduler a clinic already runs

We have not published a Jane client build, so we will not show you one. What we can show is a clinic whose scheduler has no modern integrations at all. A Natural Path To Health in North York runs ChiroSoft, an on-premises scheduler, and kept it.

  • An hourly sync from ChiroSoft exports into a modern CRM, keeping patients and appointments matched and repairing drift
  • Online booking that checks each practitioner's open times and takes family and group bookings
  • A next-day schedule emailed to each practitioner every night
  • A staff dashboard of every booking request from the website

Jane is easier to build around than that: it has booking links and tracking built in.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Jane App have an API?

No. Jane's own Integrations Hub FAQ says Jane does not currently have an open API or provide API keys, and there are no plans to make them available. Connections to Jane happen through its listed integrations, its online booking links and buttons, its Google Analytics and Tag Manager tracking, and its report exports.

Does Jane App integrate with a CRM or an automation tool?

Not officially, unless the tool is on Jane's integrations list, which Jane describes as its source of truth. A CRM can still work alongside Jane: it handles enquiries and follow-up before the booking, sends the patient a Jane booking link, and learns the outcome from replies, staff updates or patient list exports.

Can I embed Jane online booking on my website?

Jane provides Book Online buttons as HTML embed codes, with separate codes for the clinic, each practitioner and each location, plus plain URLs for site builders that do not accept HTML. Patients then book on your Jane booking site. Put the right link on each service, location and practitioner page rather than one generic button.

Is Jane App a CRM?

Not in the marketing sense. Jane manages the schedule, charts, billing, reminders and patient communication for booked patients. It is not designed to follow up with someone who enquired and has not booked yet. Many clinics run a CRM for enquiries and keep Jane as the patient record, with booking links joining the two.

How do I track Jane bookings in Google Analytics or Google Ads?

Add your GA4 measurement ID in Jane's integrations settings and create an event for the "Thanks for Booking" page, with cross-domain measurement so the source carries over from your website. For Google Ads, Jane's Google Tag Manager integration sends booking conversions to Google from Jane's side.

Will your follow-up replace Jane's reminders?

No. Jane already sends email and text reminders before appointments, and return visit reminders. We leave those in Jane and build what it does not cover: missed calls, enquiries that have not booked, review requests and reporting.
