Guides

Guides for clinics and trades

Plain answers to questions service business owners often ask: how to show up on Google Maps without a storefront, what a website should cost, whether texting callers is legal, and how clinics get more patients. Each guide is written from the work we do every week, and every rule we cite links to its source.

How these guides are checked

Every rule in these guides was checked against its primary source on the day of publication: Google's Business Profile help pages, the CRTC and the Justice Laws website for CASL, the FCC for US texting rules, and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario for clinic advertising. Each guide shows its date and links to those sources, so you can confirm the current version before you act.

Where each guide leads

The guides explain how things work. When you would rather have it built and run for you, these are the services behind them.

01

Getting found

The Google Maps guide is the thinking behind our Google Maps and local SEO service, which pairs a managed Business Profile with the service and area pages that support it, and with review generation that follows Google's rules.

02

Turning visits into enquiries

The website cost guide explains what you pay for. Our website service covers how we build sites for service businesses, priced after a free audit call.

03

Answering every lead

The texting guide sets out the rules. Missed call text back and an AI receptionist put them into practice for contractors and clinics.

04

Filling the clinic schedule

The clinic guide feeds our pages for chiropractors and physiotherapy clinics, and our clinic systems.
